Apr 3, 2023 | Press releases

Czech advanced systems integrator VDT Technology and the Faculty of Transportation of the Czech Technical University (CVUT) have announced closer cooperation, with VDT Technology becoming a “Golden Partner” of CVUT.

Closer cooperation will open up new avenues for research and knowledge exchange as well as opportunities for CVUT students. The agreement includes the possibility for students to commission a professional study as part of their research, participation for VDT Technology in all official events organized by the Faculty of Transportation in 2023, the chance for VDT Technology experts to deliver lectures to students, and job positions for students at VDT Technology.

Cooperation also involves participation for VDT Technology in the international Smart Cities Symposium organized by the Faculty of Transportation, taking place on May 25-26. The symposium is of particular relevance for VDT Technology’s activities in the field of autonomous transportation research, and the development of smart cities incorporating the latest technological solutions to improve life for residents.

This year’s edition of the Smart Cities Symposium Prague and the European Transport Congress will focus on strengthening resilience, especially in the context of sudden changes in the energy sector. Taking into account the application of knowledge in real-world solutions, the conferences are vital forums for the discussion of topics affecting technology developers and decision makers including information and data processing, modelling, and ensuring that cities are liveable.
